1999 Honda Civic Lsi Hatchback

So I’ve been holding onto this 1999 Honda Civic Lsi for a while now — it’s actually a project car I’ve been working on, and it’s from bagillt, Flintshire.

It’s a 3-door, manual, 1493cc hatchback — not flashy, but solid underneath. I’ve got a few good bits: coilovers, lower control arms, Borbet alloys, and the engine used to run well. The Type R replica spoiler is still on, and the arches are in decent shape despite some welding.

That said, it’s not in great shape overall. No starter or battery — both are missing. The paint’s pretty bad, all over — lacquer peeling, really. And the sills need welding too. I’ve done a fair bit of work on it, but it’s not quite ready to drive.

I priced it at £1000 as a project — it’s getting hard to find cars like this with the right bits, and the welding is actually one of the things that makes it stand out. The sills are off, so you can see the full scope of what’s needed.
