I’ve got a set of Powerfix ratchet straps and hooks — never used, just kept in my shed for backup. Perfect if you’ve got a trailer or roof bars and want to secure loads properly. The straps are sturdy, the hooks slide on smoothly, and they’re easy to store. I only use them occasionally, so they’re in great shape. Bought them a few years ago and haven’t needed to use them, but I’m letting them go now. £4.50 — just a small price for something that’s been fully tested in my own setup.
