1967 Morris Six Minor Van Petrol Manual
Description
Honestly, this one’s been sitting in a shed for years, but I’ve just had it pulled out and checked properly — and it’s actually better than I expected. It’s a 1967 Maroon Morris Six Minor van, fully restored, and it’s not just looking good — it’s *show-ready*. I’ve driven it a few times to suppliers, and it handles like a dream. No rattles, no whines, just smooth and quiet. The 1098cc engine pulls it well, and it’s got that classic charm without being fussy.
I’ve had it properly stripped down — undercarriage scraped, gutters cleaned, everything checked. The cab and body are both clean inside and out. The rear body even has that old delicatessen delivery vent, which I kept because it’s a real piece of history.
It’s been upgraded with servo-assisted disc brakes, a new alternator, and comfy recliner seats — which makes it way more practical than a classic van should be.
I’ve got a folder full of invoices and receipts from the restoration — all the work’s been properly documented. The original livery is still there, and there are pics of it in full show trim.
It’s currently at WRCC in old-kilpatrick, West Dunbartonshire — no need to rush, I’ll sort transport for you whether it’s local or overseas. I can even do a left-hand drive conversion if you’re outside the UK.
I’ve had it fully serviced, checked for safety, and it comes with a 12-month MOT and 6-month warranty. All the paperwork’s in place — safety belt pretensioners included.
I’ve been doing Morris Minors for years, so if you’re looking for something that drives well, looks sharp, and actually feels like it’s been cared for — this one’s worth a look.
No pressure, just a real van that’s been lived with and properly looked after. And yeah, it’s £15,745.50 — but that’s not what matters. What matters is that it’s actually usable, and it’s got soul.
