Description
Got these bongos sitting in my denholme, Bradford shed — not much space, but they’ve been in the corner for years. LP Matador model, Siam oak shells, which give off that deep, warm sound you get when you want something rich and live. The heads are rawhide, 7¼" and 8⅝", natural finish, and they’ve got traditional rims, 5/16" tuning lugs, steel backing plate, and cast aluminum bottoms. Chrome hardware throughout — looks sharp. Tuning wrench comes with it too.They’re almost brand new, barely played — just a few sessions with the kids when I was getting into music. Still feels solid, no dings, no wear. I’ve got the Fun With Bongos book by John Marshall too, if you’re into learning the basics.
Only collection — no deliveries, no trades. Just pick them up when you’re in the area. If you're in the market for something real and playable, these might just be what you're looking for. Price is £162, so I’m not charging top dollar.
