2018 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 GDi SE Nav Estate
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2018 Tucson estate, 1.6 GDi, manual, with the navigation and all the modern bits. It’s got a solid setup — 17-inch alloy wheels, 6 airbags (front, side, curtain), and the 8-inch touchscreen nav with traffic updates and live maps. I’ve used it a lot for weekend trips, and it’s been pretty reliable.Inside, it’s got leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, dual zone climate control, front and rear armrests with storage, bottle holders, and even a cup holder in the rear centre. The seats are 60/40 foldable — useful when you’ve got kids or just want to make space.
The tech side is solid: DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control with speed limiter, lane keep assist, and even a driver attention alert. There’s also a rear camera, parking sensors, and automatic wipers with rain sensor. I’ve never had any issues with the electronics — just a bit of a bit of a slow start when you first turn it on, but that’s been fixed.
It’s got ABS, ESP, hill-start assist, and a full safety package — including airbag pretensioners and a rear curtain airbag sensor. The body is in good shape, and the paint’s kept pretty clean. I’ve had it serviced regularly, and it’s got a full MOT and HPI checked.
I bought it used from Gouldings Car Sales in Gwynedd, Wales — they’ve been around for over 25 years and do a lot of Renault and Jaguar stuff. They’re a family-run lot, really take care of their cars, and I know they go the extra mile. The car was properly prepped — full inspection, valeted, and came with a parts and labour warranty.
It’s currently priced at £8,999.10, and there’s a £49 admin fee to cover paperwork. I’m not selling it to anyone in a rush — it’s just one of those cars I’ve kept for a while and now want to part with. If you’re looking for a practical, well-equipped estate that’s not too flashy but still got good tech and comfort — this one’s for you.
