So, I’ve decided to part with this van after years of using it — it’s just not going to be needed any more. It’s a 2012 Ford Transit Connect, manual, and has a clean MOT with no issues. I’ve had it properly looked after over the years — new tyres recently, and the drive locking system and actuator were both replaced. It used to be a Welsh Water van, and I’ve kept it well maintained through all that time.Now it’s been converted to a half-and-half setup: the front half has a fridge that runs off solar panels on the roof, so no running costs at all. The back has loads of space, and the batteries are tucked away in a separate unit — keeps things tidy and safe. It’s been kept clean and well organised the whole time.
