Collard & Collard Baby Grand Piano

I’ve got this old Collard & Collard baby grand piano sitting in my garage in Chipping-Sodbury, South Gloucestershire — it’s not flashy, but it’s got a real character and plays well. The sound is warm and full, which is what I remember from listening to it years ago.

It’s structurally solid — all the keys work and it actually makes music when you play it. That said, it’s not tuned up recently and might need a bit of work (tuning, maybe some minor touch-ups) to get it to sing like it should. I’ve never worked on pianos before, so I’m not claiming it’s perfect — just that it’s playable and has a solid build.

It’s just the piano — no stool, no extra bits. Photos are a bit rough, but I’ve included as many as I could. If you’re a musician, a restorer, or just love classic instruments, this could be a cool project.
