Got this old Golf from Dorset, England, and honestly, it’s been a solid workhorse. 2013, 1.6 litre, manual, 5 doors — all the standard bits like stop/start, cruise control, aircon, Bluetooth, electric sunroof, and all those little modes (normal, eco, individual) are there. I’ve kept it pretty simple — no flashy mods, just reliable. Full logbook and service history from new, most of it done at Volkswagen, so it’s well looked after.It’s at 180k miles, but it’s been mostly motorway driving, low fuel use, and I’ve never had any real issues. The engine runs smooth, no problems, and it’s been a real joy to drive — cheap fuel, no tax, and just plain easy to keep on the road.
I’m not selling it for much — £2,700 — but it’s just that I’ve been sick of all the messers on here.
