I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2017 Ford Focus Zetec Edition, diesel, 1.5L TDCi, automatic with a powershift. It’s a hatchback, five doors, Euro 6 compliant, and it’s been well looked after.

It’s got a solid 79,980 miles on it, and I’ve had it through six different owners before I took it over. The last one was a long-term driver who kept it in great shape — no major issues, just regular servicing.

I’ve got the V5, it’s had a full MOT recently (new 12-month one included), and the service history is clean and up to date. It runs smoothly, the diesel engine is quiet and efficient, and I’ve got a nice 78.5 MPG rating — decent for the class.

Inside, it’s got a proper SYNC3 screen with DAB navigation, cruise control, and a good amount of comfort — heated rear screen, front seats with manual adjustments, climate control, and plenty of storage. The alloy wheels are fresh, and the tyres are good.

It’s got rear parking sensors, ESP with traction control, ABS, airbags (front and side), and even a MyKey system. The interior feels modern and clean, and it’s been kept in good order.

I’ve been using it as my daily driver for years — it’s reliable, easy to drive, and handles well. The only thing I’m not happy with is that it’s a bit on the quiet side when you’re driving on the motorway, but it’s not a big deal.
