XXXL Miele Fridge Freezer Fan-Assisted with Instructions

I’ve been using this Miele fridge freezer for a couple of years now and honestly, it’s one of the best appliances I’ve ever had. It’s the KFN12924SD model – 231 litres total capacity, 123 in the freezer, 108 in the fridge – and it’s tall, so if you’re not tall, it might feel a bit awkward to reach the top controls, but the doors open really easily. I’ve had a few people try it, including a neighbour who said it’s like using a Rolls Royce – smooth, elegant, and just plain easy to use.

The fridge side has plenty of storage: four shelves, adjustable, and the shelves can be moved without taking them out – just a little cut-out in the glass lets you shift them up or down. The door pockets are deep enough for tall bottles, and the upper shelves have good range of adjustment. The freezer has four solid drawers – one of the best in its class – and the lower drawer splits into two side-by-side sections, which makes it so much easier to get to when it’s full.

It’s fan-assisted, so cooling is even and quick, and it runs really quietly. I’ve had it serviced and reconditioned, with a 1-year warranty, and it’s been bleached and disinfected for peace of mind. The A+ rating means it’s cheaper to run than most fridges, and the build quality is just solid – feels like it’s going to last.

I’m moving to Woolton, Liverpool, and am parting with it. It’s been a real workhorse in my kitchen, especially with the elderly in the family – the doors are a dream to open without straining. I’ve also taken out the bottle rack because it wasn’t really used, but it’s a nice option if you need it.
