Description

So, I’ve had this Peugeot 208 for a couple of years now — it’s been a solid daily driver, and I’ve actually loved how it handles and drives. I’m moving to Nazeing in Epping Forest and thought it’d be nice to part with it. It’s a 2022 Puretech Allure, petrol, manual, with the premium trim and split rear seats — the second row has a 3-seat bench, which is handy for family trips or when you’ve got a few people in the back.

Inside, it’s got a bit of a premium feel — leather steering wheel, dark tinted windows, and that carbon-effect dash. The seats are comfortable, with manual adjustments for both driver and front passenger, and there’s a decent amount of storage — cup holders, map pockets, and even a centre armrest with a small drawer. I use the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto all the time, and the mirror screen works really well.

The tech side is pretty solid — Bluetooth, voice recognition for radio, navigation, and calls, USB ports front and back (including USB-C), and a full DAB radio. I’ve got the push-button start and the start/stop system, which helps with city driving. The visibility is good thanks to the reversing camera, lane keep assist, and the 180-degree camera on the rear — I’ve used it a few times when parking.

Exterior-wise, it’s got 16-inch Soho diamond cut alloy wheels, gloss black door mirrors, and that signature Peugeot claw effect LED light on the rear. The headlights are LED with daytime running lights and a distinctive tooth design. I like how the lights turn on automatically when you brake hard — it’s a small thing, but it’s handy.

Safety features are pretty comprehensive — ABS with EBD and EBA, ESP with hill assist, airbags all around, front and rear curtain airbags, and even seatbelt alerts if someone forgets to fasten them. There’s also a child seat mount on both rear seats and a full set of 3-point seatbelts. I’ve had it checked by a mechanic recently and it’s all good — the tyres have been rotated, and I’ve got a puncture repair kit in the boot.

I’ve kept it well maintained — regular servicing, no major issues. The price is £12,825, which I’ll be happy to discuss if you’re interested.

I run Attenborough Cars — it’s a family-run business, and we’ve been around since 1982, based in Branton, just 4 miles east of Doncaster on the B1396. We’re not far from the M18 either. If you’re passing through Nazeing and want to pop by, I’ll be happy to show it to you — just give me a call. We’re open weekdays and weekends, 10am to 4pm. We also do part exchanges and finance, so if you're thinking of buying, we can help with that too.

Just thought I’d share it — it’s been a good car to have, and I'm happy to pass it on.
