2017 VW Transporter T6 Camper Manual
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this camper for a few years now, and my wife’s finally ready to get into a caravan — so I’m parting with it. It’s a 2017 VW Transporter T6 Startline Bluemotion with a 2.0L diesel engine, and it’s been properly maintained over the years. It’s got a full insulation and carpeted interior, with sound-dampening on both the front and back. The lights are all LED, and there’s a leisure battery with a split charge relay. Kitchen’s top spec — sink and hob from Smev 9222, plus a JFK50 12V fridge freezer. The passenger seat is a Kiravans swivel, and there’s a Kiravans sliding door store.
The bed’s a rock n roll type with seatbelts, and there are privacy windows with black-out curtains. I’ve got a Wimberly drive-away awning — it’s got its own separate bedroom inside, which is a nice touch. Also has 230V EHU cables, black-out wrap around, and levelling blocks. Roof bars too.
Mileage is around 105k, and I’ve had regular oil and filter changes. MOT’s valid until May 2026. The timing belt and pump were replaced at 95k, and it’s a 5-speed gearbox with a stop-start system and heated mirrors. The wheels are 17-inch Davenport alloys.
It’s been kept in pretty good shape, and I’m happy to share photos or answer questions if you’re interested. I live in Chirk, Wrexham — just let me know if you’d like to see it or chat more.
It’s worth £18,000, but I’m not putting it on the price list — just saying it’s a solid, well-used camper with solid features and a lot of practical bits. If you’re thinking of getting into the camping world, this might be something you’d actually enjoy.
