E-Plus Commute Folding Electric Bike – White – 36V – Shimano 7-Speed

Got this e-bike sitting in my garage in Nethy-bridge, Highland, and I’m finally ready to part with it. It’s been a real life-saver for getting around town, especially when I’ve got a long commute or just want to get out and explore without the hassle of a full bike.

It’s the E-Plus Commute, white, 36V, with Shimano 7-speed gears — solid build, folding frame, and a 250W front hub motor that’s legal in the UK (EN15194 compliant). The battery’s removable and takes about 5–6 hours to charge, giving you up to 45km on a single charge. I’ve used it for daily trips, weekend rides, and even just popping to the shops — it’s been pretty reliable.

The 7-speed rear derailleur shifts smoothly, and the pedal assist goes from 0 to 3 levels, plus there’s walk assist if you’re just walking and want to keep the motor on. The LED display shows your power level and battery status, and it’s got front and rear disc brakes — stops well, even on wet days.

I’ve kept it in good shape, with only minor wear, and it’s been ridden regularly but never abused. The pedals fold up, so it’s easy to store in a small space. The wheels are 700C road-ready, and it’s got a side stand too.

Weight capacity is up to 120kg — plenty for me and my usual rider weight.

Just a small note: the extra light (cateye on handle and rear) is coming off — I’ll be removing those and not including them in the sale. So it’s a clean, stripped-down version of the bike.

I’m not selling it for a big sum — it’s £261, but I just need to get it out of my garage. If you’re someone who’s into practical, everyday cycling and values reliability over flashy features, this one’s been a real help.
