I’m selling my 2016 VW Polo 1.4 TSI BlueGT – it’s been a solid driver for me over the years, and I’m happy to part with it now. It’s got that classic Polo charm with a bit of punch under the hood – 1.4 litre petrol, 0-62 in 7.8 seconds, and a real smile when you’re on the highway thanks to the 59 mpg fuel economy.

Inside, it’s pretty much packed with modern stuff: 6.5-inch touchscreen with DAB+ radio, Bluetooth for calls and music, and supports Android phones only. You can send and read SMS right from the screen too. There’s also a CD player, USB, aux-in, SD card reader, and a full range of driver features – like cruise control, electric windows, heated mirrors, hill hold assist, and all the safety bits (ABS, ESC, ASR, HBA, tyre pressure warning).

It’s got that BlueGT styling pack – blue badges, unique trim, and a bit of flair. 17-inch Montani alloy wheels, heated door mirrors, and a driver-focused setup with steering wheel controls. The seats are comfortable, and there’s room for five, plus ISOFIX points for kids. The back seat has a removable luggage cover too.

I’ve had it through a proper HPI check, and it’s been independently inspected before hand. It’s all about practicality and reliability – I’ve driven it a lot, and it’s still running well. I’ve also got a 3-month parts and labour warranty on it (though not for part-exchange or trade-in cars).
