Carrera Karkinos 27.5″ Hardtail Mountain Bike
Description
So, I’ve been riding this Carrera Karkinos hardtail for a few years now—used it for commuting, weekend trails, and just plain old weekend rides around knottingley, Wakefield. It’s been a solid companion, especially for those days when you just want to get out and move without worrying too much about the road. The frame is alloy, light enough to handle without feeling heavy, and it’s got a 100mm front suspension (Suntour) that makes it feel smooth on bumpy bits. I’ve got a Shimano 2x8 setup—Acera on the front, Altus on the back—shifts pretty smoothly, no fuss. Brakes are Tektro mechanical discs, which I’ve found work well for stopping on wet or uneven surfaces. The 27.5” wheels with all-terrain tires are still in great shape and handle most things on the ground.
I’ve got a memory-foam saddle too—really comfy after a long ride, which I’ve been grateful for on those longer trips. It’s not perfect—there are a few small scratches on the frame from regular use, but nothing that affects how it rides. Everything’s been properly maintained, so it’s still running strong.
I’m not selling it to just anyone, but if you’re into bikes and have a similar use for it—whether it’s for daily commutes or just getting out and about—this one’s been a real workhorse. Price’s £162 or nearest offer, happy to talk about it if you’re interested. Just let me know.
