I’ve had this Boardman road bike for a few years now and it’s been a solid workhorse for my daily rides around Bury, Suffolk. It’s got 16 smooth Shimano gears (8x2), mechanical caliper brakes that still work well, carbon forks, and a lightweight alloy frame — it’s part of the performance series, so it’s built to handle both city commutes and longer rides. The frame’s light but sturdy, and it’s been well looked after. It’s fully functional and runs smoothly.
