Got this 2013 Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Pro in Closet Classic Black — it’s one of those guitars that feels like it was played gently, stored properly, and never rushed. I bought it new back in 2013, played it a few times a year, then tucked it away. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid — the finish is still clean, just with a few tiny dings and some normal wear. The hardware has a bit of oxidation, and the plastic parts are a little aged, but nothing that affects playability.

It’s a real Custom Shop piece — the body’s hand-selected premium ash, the neck is quartersawn maple with that classic mid-'60s "C" shape and hand-rubbed oil finish. Fingerboard’s dark rosewood, 22 frets, narrow jumbo design, 25.5" scale. The pickups are those HW Abby Yabarra “Twisted” singles — one in the neck, one in the bridge — and the switch is a clean three-position blade. I’ve had it professionally set up and strings are brand new.

The case is included, along with the certificate of authenticity and all the original accessories. It’s been well-maintained, and the original U.S. MSRP was $4,600 — so it’s not cheap, but it’s what I’ve always wanted.
