So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2017 Kia Rio, 1.25 litre petrol, five-door hatchback with manual gearbox. I’m not selling it to get rich, just putting it on the market because I’ve finally moved to Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands and don’t need it anymore.

It’s a solid, reliable little car — not flashy, but it gets the job done. The engine’s quiet, the steering’s smooth, and it’s been well looked after. I’ve done a few things to keep it running well: changed the oil regularly, kept the tyres in good shape, and the body’s been maintained properly.

It’s got a decent interior — leather trim on the steering wheel, 5-inch touchscreen with DAB and RDS, a 3.5-inch cluster, and all the modern bits like cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic headlight adjustment. The seats are comfy, the storage is good, and there’s even a little parcel shelf in the boot.

I’ve had it through a full check, so it’s not just a “used car” — it’s been properly inspected and comes with a clean history. I’ve also got a lifetime warranty on it (though I don’t know if it’s actually still active — that might be something to check when you look it over).

I’m not asking for much — just £7,425. It’s not a flashy car, but it’s been reliable and I’ve driven it in all sorts of weather. If you’re looking for something practical, low-maintenance, and not too expensive to run, this might be the one.
