So, I’ve got this 2011 Skoda Octavia 2.0T FSI VRS estate — it’s a solid, well-maintained car with a clean service history. It’s got a petrol engine, ULEZ compliant, and runs smoothly. The features are pretty good: cruise control, electro-mechanical PAS, outside temp gauge, service interval reminder, lowered suspension, 8 speakers, a radio with CD and MP3, aero wipers, body-colour mirrors and trim, and all that VRS styling — from the bumpers to the kickplates and steering wheel.

Inside, it’s comfy — dual-zone climate control, heated and adjustable mirrors, electric windows, storage under seats, a jumbo box with armrest, and even a cool box in the glovebox. The seats are sports-style, and there’s a passenger vanity mirror, rear armrest, and split folding rear seats if you need more space.

It’s got a full set of safety gear — airbags, ESP with ABS, ASR, MSR, and all that, plus tyre pressure monitor and an alarm with interior monitoring. The wheels are 18-inch Neptune alloys, and the car has LED daytime running lights, tinted glass, and a boot net.

I found it a while ago, and it’s been kept in good shape — I’ve done a few short trips around the countryside, mostly just driving to and from the village and a few local bits. It’s not a daily commuter, but it’s reliable and comfortable for weekend drives.

It’s parked at Corrour, The Road to the Isles — not too far from the nearest village, so it’s easy to get to if you’re local.
