So, I’ve had this 2016 Mercedes B-Class for a few years now — not flashy, but very solid. It’s a diesel, 5-seater MPV with the AMG Line styling, painted in that sleek titanium grey with a high-shine finish. The wheels are 18-inch alloy in that cool AMG 5-twin-spoke design, and it’s got all the standard safety stuff: ABS, ESP, ASR, brake assist, hill start assist, and that attention-assist system.

Inside, it’s got a nice 8-inch screen with Bluetooth and audio streaming — you can connect it hands-free, and the voice is actually pretty clear. The seats are comfortable, and there’s a carbon fibre trim on the dash. I’ve used it every day for work, so it’s been well-maintained.

There’s a 12V socket in the boot, one under the seat, and one in the rear — handy if you're ever carrying gear. The mirrors are electrically folding and automatically dimming, and the mirrors themselves are body-coloured with a curved glass finish. The door panels are soft microfibre, and the armrests have red stitching — front and rear.

I’ve kept it clean, so there’s no major damage. The air vents have chrome surrounds, and the ambient lighting lets you pick from 12 different colours. The boot has a collapsible storage box and bag hooks. There’s also a first aid kit and floor mats with AMG lettering.

It’s got all the modern safety features — collision prevention, adaptive brake lights, parking assist, and even a crash sensor that opens doors automatically in an emergency. The seats have airbags, including windowbags and knee airbags, and the passenger airbag is automatic.

I’ve driven it a lot, and it’s been reliable. I’m moving to New Quay, Ceredigion, so I’m parting with it. The price is £10,215 — fair for what it is, especially since it’s been well looked after.

If you’re looking for something practical, safe, and not too flashy — this one’s been a good workhorse. I’ll keep it simple, no fads or overkill. Just a solid, reliable car with a bit of character.
