2019 Smart Forfour 0.9T Urban Shadow Hatchback

I’ve had this Smart Forfour since 2019 and it’s honestly been one of my most reliable little cars. It’s not flashy, but it’s got everything you’d want in a city car — sharp handling, good visibility, and a surprisingly roomy interior. The 0.9-litre engine gives it a lively feel without being too thirsty, and it’s a real joy to drive around town or on quiet roads.

It’s got a decent tech setup too — satellite navigation, Bluetooth, and a 7-inch touchscreen that’s easy to use. I’ve used it for everything from quick errands to weekend trips, and the reversing camera and parking assist make it a lot easier to park than I expected. The climate control keeps the cabin comfortable in both summer heat and winter chill.

The 16-inch alloy wheels look modern, and the LED daytime running lights give it a neat, sharp look. Inside, the seats are comfortable, the storage is good, and there’s even a foldable cargo box in the back — useful when I need to carry things. I’ve also got the driver’s knee airbag, side airbags, and crash sensors, which I’ve found helpful over the years.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been mostly used for daily commuting and short trips. It’s not a luxury car, but it does what it’s meant to do — get you where you need to go without fuss.

I’m moving to Criccieth in Gwynedd and I’m just letting it go, so I’m passing it on. It’s not a flashy car, but it’s been solid company over the years. If you’re looking for something practical, easy to manage, and packed with features without the price tag of a bigger car — this might be your kind of thing.
