I’ve had this 2005 Nissan Almera for a few years now and it’s honestly been one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever driven. It’s a 1.5L petrol, manual, 5-door hatchback with just 58,000 miles — not a lot for its age, and it’s been well looked after. The MOT runs until July 2026, so it’s not ticking any boxes just yet.It’s a solid, no-frills car with a quiet engine, smooth gear changes, and a cabin that’s clean and easy to keep tidy. The hatchback is practical — great for kids or groceries — and the interior’s still comfortable even after all these years. I’ve only done basic maintenance, and it’s never needed anything fancy.
It’s in good shape for a car this old, and I’ve only driven it a few hundred miles a year. I’m moving to Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute, and I’m just letting it go because I’m not needing it anymore. It’s not flashy, but it gets you where you need to go without a fuss.
