2018 Hyundai Tucson Sport Edition Estate
Description
I’m selling my 2018 Hyundai Tucson Sport Edition Estate — it’s been a solid driver for me over the years, and I’m happy to part with it. It’s got low mileage for the year, which means it’s been well looked after, and the MOT’s valid until January 2026. I’ve had it checked through a vehicle history report and there’s a partial service record, so it’s not just a showroom car — it’s actually been driven and maintained. It’s a 1.6L petrol engine, Euro 6 compliant, and gets the job done without burning too much fuel. The 8-inch touchscreen has TomTom LIVE, Traffic Messaging, Mapcare, and a reversing camera — I use that all the time, especially when parking. There’s also parking sensors on both front and rear, and the climate control lets you set different temps for front and back, plus an ioniser that keeps the air nice and fresh.
Heated front and rear seats are a real plus in the winter, and the seats are easy to adjust — driver and passenger both can shift around as needed. The 19-inch alloy wheels look sharp, and the interior is clean, with soft-touch trim and a bit of leather on the steering wheel and knee bolster. I’ve also got a bottle holder, cup holders, and a glove box with cooling function — small things, but useful.
I’ve had it through a few hands before — it was previously owned by a leasing company, so it’s had more than one driver. I’m not putting that down as a negative, just something to know. The car has a low insurance group, which means cheaper premiums — that’s a win for me. It does a decent job of accelerating, hitting 60mph in about 8.9 seconds, which is quicker than most similar SUVs.
The safety features are solid: lane departure warning, cruise control with speed limiter, ABS, ESP, 6 airbags (including side and curtain), and a hill-start assist. The headlights have a follow-me-home feature, and the wipers auto-adjust to rain. All the windows are electric, with one-touch up and down, and the mirrors adjust and fold with power — useful when parking.
I’ve kept it in good shape, and it’s been parked at honley, Station Yard, where I’ve been storing it for a while. I’ve only just decided to sell it, so it’s still in great condition.
I’m offering a £99 reserve — you can take it, and if you don’t end up buying it, you get a full refund. No pressure, just a good car with a clean history.
I run Essex Car Company — a family-run shop with over 200 cars on site. We’ve been around since 2008, and most of our staff have been here for years. We’ve got a proper workshop and valet bay, and we’ve even been on Channel 4 with a show called “The Dealership” — it was a big hit with over a million viewers.
We offer a free 3-month warranty with all cars, and you can extend it if you want. We also have flexible finance options for all credit levels and can help with part exchanges.
If you’re interested, just get in touch — I’m usually around during the day, and we can arrange a view or delivery across the UK.
Price is £13,499.10 — I’ve kept it at that figure because it’s what it’s worth, and I’m not looking to sell it for less.
(Just a note: if you’re thinking of buying it, I’m happy to answer any questions — especially about the leasing history or how it’s been driven.)
