So, I’ve been driving this 2024 Kia Sportage for about six months now and honestly, it’s been a real pleasure. It’s a hybrid — petrol and electric — so it’s pretty efficient, especially on the way to work or when I’m doing short trips. Only had one owner, and it’s been well looked after.

The GT-Line S trim has a panoramic sunroof that tilts and slides, which is a nice touch — I love opening it up on sunny days. Also got dual LED headlights with adaptive beam, heated steering wheel, and a little electric blind. All of that makes it feel a bit more premium than your average SUV.

I’ve used the 360-view monitor and parking sensors a lot — super handy when parking in tight spots, especially in Dawlish. The boot’s generous too, so I can fit my shopping, a bit of gear, or even a couple of kids’ things without a problem.

It’s not a race car, but it does zip from 0 to 62 in about 8.4 seconds — enough to feel lively without being too aggressive. And it comes with a full 7-year warranty and two years of roadside assistance, which is a real peace of mind.

I’ve been driving it through a lot of different weather, and it handles well. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and actually quite comfortable.
