M&S Sonoma Solid Oak King Bed Frame

I’ve been using this bed frame for years and honestly, it’s one of the most solid pieces of furniture I’ve ever owned. It’s the original M&S Sonoma king size bed frame made from real solid oak — not veneer, not half-thickness. The whole thing is thick, heavy, and feels like it’s built to last. The joints are solid, no wobbling, and the frame doesn’t flex at all. I’ve compared it to the version they sell online — that one’s thinner, missing a headboard panel, and uses oak veneer, so it’s nowhere near as strong or as heavy. The screws go into MDF in the online version, which just falls apart over time. This one? It’s actually much more durable.

It’s H103 x W167.7 x L216.6 cm — big, solid, and totally stable. It’s second-hand, but I’ve kept it in a dry, stable place and it’s never seen any damage. The finish is a bit worn in places, but that’s just from use — no cracks, no dents. I’ve actually had both versions, so I know the difference.
