I’ve had this AKG C568 EB for years—used it mostly for home recordings and some film projects. It’s a 30-year-old mic, but it’s still in great working order. The supercardioid pattern is tight and clean, perfect for boom setups or picking up dialogue on location. I only keep the pickup head, no body. It’s been well-maintained and works smoothly. Just moved to Talybont-Ceredigion, New Street, so it’s not in the old barn anymore. It’s a bit heavy, but the sound quality is solid—worth keeping if you’re into practical recording.
