So I’ve been keeping this little Fiat 500 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, for a while now — it’s been my go-to for a few years, mostly just for weekend drives and learning the ropes. It’s a 2008 1.2 Pop, three-door hatchback, and I’ve actually had it through quite a few upgrades.

The road tax is £35, and it’s been cheap to insure — perfect for someone new to driving or just looking for a reliable, easy-to-handle car. It’s not flashy, but it drives really well — smooth, stable, and doesn’t make a fuss on the road.

I’ve done a bit of work on it recently: replaced the front near-side coil spring (a bit of a wobble there), got new anti-link stabiliser bars on both front sides, and fresh front brake pads. All that work was done in the last few months, and I’ve also just had new tyres fitted.

MOT expires October 8th 2025. It’s a solid engine, gearbox, and clutch — no issues at all. I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been a real pleasure to drive.
