Got this van a few years ago and it’s been sitting in my driveway in Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire, not been driven much since. It’s a 2006 Vauxhall Vivaro, manual, 1870cc — basically a solid van with a few issues. MOT failed on a few points, mostly mechanical, and I’ve already had a gearbox and clutch replaced a couple of thousand miles ago. I’ve checked the failed items online and it’s pretty clear what needs fixing — nothing too fancy, just basic mechanic work.

The brakes haven’t been used in a while, so they’re not in great shape. A garage gave me a quote of around £300 for welding work, but I’m happy to let a local mechanic take a look and fix what’s needed. The back seats come off easily, and it’s got a tow bar if you’re looking to use it for towing.

It’s been sitting for months, so it’s not in great running condition — but it’s a solid base. I’ve been thinking of selling it to get some cash back, and it’s worth about £720.
