Description
This Motobecane road/touring bike is a real oddity — it was made in France back in the 70s and ended up in a shop in factory wrapping for nearly 40 years. I found it in 2012 and since then, it’s only done about 20 miles in dry summer weather. The 21-inch frame is pristine, no scratches or wear. All the parts are original French and Italian: Huret, Nervar, Pivo, CLB, Universal (Milan), and Miche from Italy. The frame’s still spotless, which is rare for something that old. I’ve got a few spare bits ready to go — Atax stem, CLB brake levers, and Vittoria tyres. It’s been sitting in a garage in Rhosneigr, Isle of Anglesey, and I’m just passing it on.
