Description

Got this old mill stool from a family cottage in na-h-eileanan-an-iar, Scotland, and it’s been sitting in the back of my shed for years. Solid beech and elm, no fancy finishes — just honest, sturdy wood. The seat is worn smooth from years of use, and the spacer is a bit thick, which I guess means it was built to last. I never really needed it, but now I just keep it around as a reminder of how things used to be. It’s not flashy, but it feels like it could last a long time — maybe even outlive me. If you’ve got a grandkid who’d appreciate something with character, this one might just fit. Price’s £99, but I’m not saying that out loud. Just thought I’d share it.
