Got this old Al Carter Lassen Peak bike tucked away in wyke, Bradford — it’s one of those bikes that just feels right when you ride it. It’s a 46cm medium frame with Tange CR-MO butted tubing, which was top shelf back in the day. The full Deore XT and LX setup is original — 8-speed Shimano Deore XT rear mech, XT cassette, new KMC chain, and the Sram grip shifters and grips are still in great shape. Kalloy alloy bars and stem, Shimano Deore LX triple crank, and those centre-pull Deore LX brakes give you solid stopping power. The ride is smooth thanks to the Flight titanium saddle and the 26-inch alloy wheels with Shimano XT hubs and Ritchey Mega Bite clime-max 2.1 tyres on the rear.

It’s been properly serviced and is in great condition — not flashy, not overhyped, just a solid, reliable ride. I’ve used it for both trail days and city commutes, and it handles everything.
