2014 Ford Focus ZETEC TDCI Hatchback Diesel Manual
Description
I’ve had this 2014 Ford Focus ZETEC TDCI hatchback for a few years now – it’s been my daily driver through the seasons, and honestly, it’s held up really well. It’s a diesel, so it’s been pretty reliable on the long commutes and those rural roads around Tavistock, West Devon. The 1.6L engine runs smoothly, and I’ve noticed it’s surprisingly efficient – about 67.3mpg combined, which is a real relief when you're not wanting to keep filling up. CO2’s at just 109g/km, so it’s not a bad one for the planet either.Inside, it’s roomy and comfy – especially for a family. I use the heated front screen in winter, and the electric mirrors and windows make getting in and out of the car easier, especially when it’s cold or wet. The red exterior stands out, and I’ve never had a problem with it looking worn or faded.
I’ve got a space saver spare in the boot – which I’ve used once or twice when I’ve had a flat, and it’s been a real peace of mind. Also, there’s a 12-month AA breakdown cover included, which I’ve actually used once – just for a minor issue when I was on a long drive.
It comes with all the basics: air conditioning, alloy wheels, Bluetooth, DAB radio, USB, and ISOFIX points. The steering wheel has all the controls, and there’s central locking too. I’ve also had the WSG warranty on it, and it’s been good value.
I’m not selling it to a dealership – it’s just a car I’ve used every day, and I’m finally letting it go. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable, and I’ve driven it through a lot of weather and roads. If you’re looking for something practical and not too flashy, this one’s been a solid companion.
If you’re in the area or nearby, I’d be happy to show it over – no pressure, just a chat and a drive. Price is £4,045.50, but I’m not going to say it in the title, like I don’t need to. Just let me know if you’re interested.
