I’m selling my 2014 Hyundai Ix35 – it’s been in my family for a few years now and has seen a fair bit of driving, mostly around the local area. It’s a solid, practical SUV with a clean service history up to 77k miles, and I’ve had it serviced seven times. The 1.6L petrol engine runs smoothly, and I’ve noticed it’s pretty economical – around 41.5mpg on the mix.

It’s a manual, so I like that – gives you more control, especially when you’re driving on twisty roads or just want to keep things simple. The 17-inch alloy wheels look good, and the interior is clean and well-maintained. I’ve kept it tidy with regular use, so it’s not just sitting in a garage – it’s been used, but not abused.

Safety-wise, it’s got a good set of features: ABS, ESP, brake assist, airbags all around (including full-length curtain airbags), and even hill-start assist. The LED daytime running lights and fog lights help with visibility, especially in the mornings or during rain.

Inside, there’s a decent amount of storage – front and rear armrests with compartments, cup holders, glove box with cooling function, and even front seat back pockets. The seats are heated, which is a real plus in the winter. The climate control is dual-zone with a humidity sensor, which I’ve found useful on cold days.

It has cruise control, parking sensors, electric windows, and a good CD player with Bluetooth. The steering is responsive, and the seats are comfortable – I’ve driven it in a range of weather and conditions, and it handles well.

I’ve had it through a full inspection and it’s HPI clear – no major issues. The price is £4,941, which I think is fair given the mileage and condition. I’m not looking to resell it, so it’s just going to be parked in Dunbar, East Lothian, where I’ve been living for a few years.
