This 2016 C220d AMG Line coupe is one of those cars that just feels right — sleek, refined, and quietly powerful. I bought it a few years ago and it’s been a solid daily driver with regular servicing at 9595, 20304, 42738, 57240, 64516, and 70857 miles — all done properly, no dodgy bits.

It’s Iridium Silver, which looks sharp in the sunlight, and the 18-inch AMG 5-spoke alloys match it well. The front has LED headlights with rain-sensing wipers — super useful in the rain — and the mirrors are electric, heated, and auto-folding, so it’s easy to adjust when you get in.

Inside, it’s all leather, with supportive sports seats. The front seats are partly adjustable, which helps when you’re not used to driving with a certain posture. The seats are heated too, and there’s dual-zone climate control — nice for different people or different weather.

The boot’s roomy enough for weekend trips, and there’s a decent amount of legroom for passengers. The media system is solid — DAB, Bluetooth, USB, and the Burmester sound system actually does deliver a clean, punchy audio experience. Navigation’s also good, and there’s rear-view camera and parking sensors to make parking easier — especially useful when I’m trying to squeeze into narrow streets.

I’ve used cruise control and speed limiter quite a bit, and the car handles well even with the diesel engine. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and comfortable — just the kind of car you’d want to drive long distances or take on family trips.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been mostly driven in good conditions. It’s currently based in dulas, Moelfre, so if you’re local, it’s easy to check it out.
