Got this for my first two kids – used from birth to 4 years, never been in an accident. The seat is still in great shape, just a bit worn around the edges. I’ve got the newborn inserts and can swap them out if needed. The base is solid and works well with my car. It’s been through a few changes but still holds up. Just need to get it back in the car for a quick trip or if you're thinking of getting a second seat.
