HEMNES Chest of 8 Drawers

Description

Got this old HEMNES chest of drawers sitting in the garage at garve, Station Road. It’s solid wood, grey finish, and feels really sturdy — not flashy, just solid and warm like real wood. The drawers slide super smoothly and quietly, which is a big plus when you’ve got a lot of stuff to store. I’ve actually taken it apart a few times to clean it out, so it’s been well looked after.

It’s got 8 drawers, so plenty of space for clothes, linens, or just general storage. The inside of each drawer is about 43cm deep, and the pull-out is 29.4cm — not too narrow. The overall size is 160cm wide, 50cm deep, and 96cm tall, with 11cm of free space underneath. Total storage capacity is around 270 litres, which is more than enough for a couple of bedrooms or just a tidy home office.

I’m not selling it because I don’t need it — I just moved it out of the way and figured I’d share it with someone who might actually use it. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable and has that classic, timeless look. If you’re looking for something practical and long-lasting, this one’s worth a look.

Price is £180, but I’m not going to say that in the title — it’s just something I’ve got to get rid of now.
