Got this bed from my old house in Gairloch, Highland – it’s been in a smoke and pet-free home for years. The velvet is still soft, and the frame is solid, though it’s missing one or two slats (easy fix, about £5). I’m keeping it for now, but if anyone’s looking for a clean, comfy bed with a bit of character, it’s worth a look.
