Description
Got this Peugeot from the 70s – 14 speed, 2x7 setup with downtube shifters, and it’s got a rear rack, mudguards, and that classic chrome chain guard. I’ve recently done a proper restoration, so it’s all working well now. Frame’s solid steel, light enough for a decent ride without being too heavy, and the fit’s good for someone around 5'5 to just over 6ft. Gears shift smoothly, brakes are sharp, and the tyres are in great shape. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and comfortable – great for a casual ride or getting around town. I’ve lived in Downpatrick, Newry for a few years now and have actually used it quite a bit over the years. It’s a bit of a retro charm, but it’s actually quite practical.
