Hey, I’ve been looking at the car hire scene a bit more, and I’ve got a few of the newer electric and hybrid models I’ve been using for my own runs — mostly for local trips, deliveries, and just getting around without the hassle of parking or the fumes.

I’ve got a Tesla Model X Long Range (7-seater) — that’s the one with the long range and the sleek design, good for longer trips. I’ve also got a BMW 530e SE and the M Sport version — both plug-in hybrids, so they’re not just EVs but still pretty efficient. There’s also a Mercedes EQE, which I’ve been using for weekend trips and city drives — very smooth, great interior.

I’ve got a few of the 7-9 seater MPVs too — like the new Toyota Proace Verso (9-seater) and a Maxus Mifa 9 (7-seater, with different trim levels). These are useful if you're doing group runs or have family. And I’ve got a few MG5 EVs and a Hyundai IONIQ PHEV — all of which are great for short hops and city use.

I’m based in Lightwater, Windlesham — just a bit outside London, so I can get to the city in under an hour. The cars are all well-maintained, with full MOTs, road tax, and servicing covered. No credit checks needed — just show up and get behind the wheel.

I’ve been using them for a few months now and they’ve actually saved me money on fuel and parking. The EVs don’t have to be charged every day — and they’re all ULEZ and congestion charge compliant.
