I’ve had this 2015 Hyundai Tucson for a few years now, and it’s been a solid daily driver for me. I live in Bude, Cornwall, and it’s been great for commuting and weekend trips around the coast. It’s a diesel manual with the 1.7 CRDi engine – not flashy, but reliable and efficient.

The navigation system is actually pretty good with Tom Tom LIVE and traffic updates, and there’s a reversing camera too. I’ve used the USB and AUX ports a lot – handy for playing music or charging devices. The seats are comfortable, especially the driver’s side with the lumbar support, and the rear seats fold down easily if I’m doing a road trip.

It has all the safety stuff you’d expect: ABS, ESP, airbags, lane departure warning, and even a tyre pressure monitor. The interior is clean and well-maintained, with leather-wrapped steering wheel and soft-touch trim. The alloy wheels are still in great shape, and the boot space is decent for a family or weekend gear haul.

I’ve kept it pretty well cared for, and it’s been mostly driven on the road with a mix of city and country driving. It’s not a luxury car by any means, but it’s got a real balance of practicality and comfort.
