Got this van back in 2010 from a John Lewis fleet — used to be a proper work van, low mileage at 80k now. It’s a clean, well-maintained Sprinter with a 1.8L petrol engine that runs smooth and handles both petrol and natural gas. The fuel economy’s been great, especially for a van this size.

I’ve kept it pretty tidy — engine and bay are spotless, no oil leaks, runs perfectly. Had a new battery and alternator fitted recently, plus suspension and wheel arms were all renewed. The MOT is brand new with no advisories, and all the paperwork is in order.

I actually had a quote for £2,800 to fix some bad points that got damaged during previous use — I didn’t go ahead with it, mainly because it was a bit of a hassle and I was moving abroad. So I’ve just been holding on to it, keeping it in good shape.

The fridge and freezer still work well, and the interior fridge is nearly brand new. There’s a sink hole inside too — handy for quick clean-ups. The van drives well, no roughness, and the body’s solid.
