Description

These Shires Moretta Pietra riding boots are brand new, still in the original box, and I’ve never worn them. I bought them about a year ago for £150 — right before my surgeon told me I’d have to stop riding due to an injury. So they’ve sat untouched, just waiting for someone who actually loves riding to find them.

They’re black, size 6, slim calf, and the leather feels really soft and hugs your leg well. The lining is full leather, which means it breathes, and there’s a stretch mock lace detail that’s nice for a snug fit. The zip has a Moretta popper and a guard, and the back has a leather-covered elastic panel that’s really responsive. The sole has a composite Moretta brand design with RippleTread for good grip, and there’s an ActiveFlex insole with impact support — useful if you're on the ground a lot.

I’m not a rider anymore, so these are going to a real horse person who’ll appreciate how well they’re made. They’re not just boots — they’re a piece of gear that feels like it was built for comfort and performance. I’ve kept them clean and stored them properly, so they’re in perfect condition.

If you’re into riding and want boots that actually feel good on your legs, these might be the one you’ve been looking for. They’re currently in my shed in Beckermet, Cumberland — just a quick drive from the village if you’re local. I’ve got a spare pair of socks and a boot brush ready if needed.

Priced at £72, I know it’s not cheap, but they’re genuinely worth it. Just don’t expect them to save me from my injury — they’re more like a tribute to how much I used to love riding.
