Got this old M&S oak bedstead from the Detroit range – it’s a solid 4’6” double with a sprung base. The style’s shaker, so it’s not flashy but feels really sturdy. The manual says it’s mostly European oak, with some veneers just for stability. It’s been in the house for years and still looks great, no dents or major wear. The Simba mattress comes with it, so you get a full set. It’s currently in sauchie, Clackmannanshire, and I’ve been using it for a while – just need a bit of space now.
