Description

So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now – it’s a 2019 Honda Civic 1.0 VTEC Turbo in Rally red, and honestly, it’s one of those cars that feels both sharp and practical. The 1.0-litre turbo three-cylinder engine puts out 126bhp, which isn’t flashy by any stretch, but it’s more than enough for daily driving, and the 0–62 time is around 10.8 seconds – not a sprinter, but good enough for a smooth, responsive drive. Top speed hits 124mph, which is kind of wild for a small hatchback, but you never really feel rushed.

The Sport Line trim gives it a bit of a sporty edge – 17-inch alloy wheels, a small rear spoiler, and that faux diffuser really bring out the dynamic look. Inside, it’s got red stitching, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Not a huge screen, but it’s been good enough for me for years.

Safety-wise, it’s got Honda Sensing – lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise, and collision mitigation braking. I’ve used that a few times when driving on the A-road near Sedbergh, and it’s actually helped a lot. The cabin is roomy, boot space is decent, and it runs on 107g/km – not the lowest, but definitely efficient for a small car.

I’ve had it through full service history checks, and it’s been well looked after. The AC works, the windows go up and down smoothly, the mirrors fold easily, and the parking sensors are actually useful when I’m parking in tight spots.

I’m based in Sedbergh, Westmorland and Furness, so if you’re local or just passing through, I’m happy to chat. I’ve actually had a few people ask about it – it’s a solid, reliable car with a bit of character. If you're interested, I can send a quick video or just go over it in person when it suits.

It’s not a flashy car, but it’s been a real workhorse for me over the years – good for commuting, easy to maintain, and doesn’t eat through the petrol like some of the bigger models. Just a solid little machine.

If you're thinking about it, let me know – I’m happy to talk through it.
