Description

So, I’ve been driving this 2019 Ford EcoSport for a few years now and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable little SUVs I’ve ever had. It’s got a clean MOT until August 2026 and I’ve had it through a full history check — nothing shady, just a straightforward ownership journey.

It’s a petrol model with the 1.0L EcoBoost engine, 125ps, and Euro 6 compliance — which means it’s efficient and low on emissions. I’ve noticed it gets around 46 mpg, which is solid for a small SUV, and it’s been a real help on long drives without the fuel guzzling.

Inside, it’s got all the basics you’d expect: automatic climate control, which I love when the weather changes — no more fiddling with knobs in the rain. The Ford SYNC 3 screen is nice, supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the 8-inch touchscreen is easy to use. I’ve used it for navigation and music without any hiccups.

Parking’s easier thanks to the rear view camera pack — sensors and camera — which is a big plus when I’m turning into tight spaces. The 17-inch alloy wheels are flash grey and look decent, and the seats have good support with manual adjustments. I’ve got a bit of a habit of adjusting the driver’s seat and headrests to make it feel just right.

I’ve had a few previous owners, including a leasing company, so it’s been in a few hands — but that doesn’t mean it’s not been well looked after. The car has a solid service history, though not full, and everything’s been kept in good shape.

It’s got all the safety bits too — airbags, ESP, ABS, and even a driver’s knee airbag. The alarm is Thatcham Category 1, which is good for peace of mind. There’s also a heated windscreen, automatic headlights, and some nice little touches like ambient lighting and a cup holder.

I’ve kept it in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, and I’ve had it for a while now — it’s been a solid daily driver, and I’m happy with how it’s held up.

If you’re looking at a reliable, low-maintenance SUV with good fuel efficiency and a clean history, this one’s worth a look.

I’m not selling it for a massive price — £8,091 — but it’s a great deal for what it is. If you’re interested, I can set up a viewing or a quick chat. I’m happy to do a click & collect or delivery across the UK.

And if you’re worried about reliability, I’ve got a 3-month warranty as standard, with the option to extend — it’s covered by Warranty Solutions Group, which is one of the best in the business.

I’m the one who runs the place — Essex Car Company — and we’ve been around since 2008. It’s a family-run business with over 200 cars on site, and most of the staff have been here for years. I’ve actually worked here since I was 18 — so I know what to look for in a car.

We’ve got a TV show from 2013 that got over a million viewers, which might not sound like much, but it did help people see what we’re really like — honest, no fluff.

If you’re thinking about buying, I’d be happy to talk through it. No pressure, just a real conversation.
