Got this old gate-leg dining table and four chairs sitting in my flat in Falkirk, Scotland. The table’s a dark wood with a MDF veneer top — opens up to 149cm long and 85.5cm wide, tucks down to 42cm wide when closed. The top’s a bit faded in the middle, especially near the centre, but it’s not bad and a cloth will hide it just fine. The chairs are 103cm tall, 45cm wide, and 43cm deep — they’ve got a few chips and scratches on the backs where they’ve knocked into walls, but they’re solid and won’t wobble. I’ve been thinking about painting them up as part of a DIY project, so if you're into upcycling or just want to give it a go with paint, it’s a decent set to start with.
