I’ve had this Corgi model since I was a kid – bought it back in 1985. It’s one of those rare ones that actually came with a real coach’s livery, since the original vehicle had been sold by Midland Red for a route from South Wales to London. The model’s fully mobile, with a detachable chassis, so it’s not just sitting on a shelf – you can actually move it around. I’ve been thinking about restoring it or giving it a fresh paint job, so it’s in decent condition for that. It’s a real nod to the quality of British model-making from that era. The background building in the photo is just for visual effect – I took it out to keep it simple.
