2011 Toyota Verso 1.33 Dual VVT-i T Spirit MPV 5-door petrol manual
Description
I’ve had this 2011 Toyota Verso S for a few years now and it’s been my go-to car for everything – commuting, family trips, even weekend drives to the countryside near Devizes. It’s a solid, no-nonsense MPV that actually works well for real life, not just showroom specs. The car’s got a sleek satin blue finish that’s still looking great – it’s not flashy, but it stands out just enough on the road. I noticed it keeps the cabin cooler in hot weather, which is a small but useful thing when you’re driving in the summer. Inside, the black Serra Cloth seats feel comfortable and don’t show wear easily. I’ve had kids in it, so it’s been through a bit of action, but nothing’s really worn down.
It’s a manual, front-wheel drive, 1.33-litre engine with 98bhp – not the fastest, but it’s smooth and responsive. I’ve never had any real issues with it, and it gets around 51.4 mpg, which is decent for a small MPV. I’ve only had one private owner since 2012, and it’s been well looked after. The car’s registered to Jemca Toyota originally, then passed to me, and I’ve kept it in good shape.
It’s Euro 5 compliant, so no ULEZ issues, and I pay just £165 a year in road tax. Insurance’s in group 08, which is low – not a huge surprise given how reliable it is. I’ve driven it in all sorts of conditions – traffic jams, speed bumps, winding roads – and it’s held up okay.
The only thing I’d mention is that it’s been used regularly, so it’s not a show car. It’s not a luxury model, but it does the job. I’m keeping it because it’s reliable, practical, and actually feels like a proper family car.
I’ve had to pay £82.50 plus VAT for processing – that’s a one-time fee, not a cost to you. The car’s been maintained properly and I’m happy with how it’s held up.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, no-frills MPV that actually gets you where you need to go without breaking the bank, this might be the one.
Viewings are by appointment only – just give me a call and we can arrange something. I’m based in Devizes, Wiltshire, and I’ll make sure you get a proper look at it before you decide.
I’ve also got a Customer Protect warranty in place – it’s not a full insurance, but it helps cover minor repairs and unexpected issues, so you don’t have to pay out of pocket if something goes wrong. That’s something I’ve only ever done for cars I’m genuinely happy with.
I’m not selling it to make a quick profit – I’m selling it because I’m moving and I need a car that’s reliable, not flashy. If you’re thinking of buying something that just works, this might be a good fit.
