2013 Mazda MX-5 1.8i SE Roadster Convertible
Description
So, I’ve had this 2013 Mazda MX-5 SE Roadster for just over a decade now — one owner from new, and honestly, it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s got that classic MX-5 spirit — light, fun, and a bit of that sports car charm without being overly flashy.I’ve had it through 12 full services, last one done at 46,726 miles, and it’s been kept in great shape the whole time. The tyres were replaced at 47k — all four new, so it’s fresh and safe. MOT runs until August 2026, and it’s been clear through every check — no advisories, no red flags. I’ve even had an HPI check and it’s clean.
Inside, it’s comfortable with climate control, air conditioning, a CD player, and alloy wheels. There’s also ESP and safety belt pretensioners — nothing fancy, but good for peace of mind. The stereo is AM/FM, not super modern, but works well enough.
I’ve got two sets of keys, the owner’s manual, and the book pack — everything you’d expect. And yeah, it’s ULEZ compliant, so no issues in London or other areas with the new rules.
It’s only done about 47k miles, which for a car this age is pretty low. The engine’s solid, the car’s been well looked after, and it’s still a real pleasure to drive — especially on a quiet road or a twisty bit of A-road.
I’ve kept it simple — no flashy mods, just solid, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable.
I’m based in Havant, Hampshire now, so if you’re looking for something a bit different from the usual hatchbacks or SUVs — this one’s a real gem.
And just to be clear — it’s worth £7,605. Not a bargain, but it’s been well cared for, and I’m happy with how it’s turned out.
If you’ve ever wanted to drive a proper little sports car without the price tag of a proper track car — this might be the one.
(Disclaimer: I’m not selling it to anyone who’s just looking for a quick fix or a second-hand car that’s been dumped. This one’s been treated like a real car, not a spare part.)
