I’ve had this DR OTEK MT-XR for a couple of years now, mostly used for digging up small metal objects around the garden and near the old field behind my house in Bideford, Northam. It’s been used only once properly—found a few old nails and a bit of rusted wire—after that, I kept it in a drawer until I needed it again. It works fine, no issues at all. I’m just getting rid of it now because I’ve moved on to something else. If you’re into digging or just want a reliable detector for small finds, it’s in great shape.
